Abstract:
The main focus of this paper is on the global system optimization of hybrid electric vehicle drivetrain and the voltage level of the hybrid system. Utilizing the previous research on voltage levels [1], this paper shows the different methods to globally and simultaneously evaluate the integration and efficiency of the electric machine and inverter. A comparison and evaluation of typical automotive voltage levels is completed and potential for further research is suggested.
