Abstract:
This paper provides closed-form expressions for the average level crossing rate (LCR), the outage probability and the average fade duration (AFD) of two-hop Amplify and Forward (AF) relay channels exposed to the combined effect of the thermal noise (AWGN) and the cochannel interference (CCI) in Rayleigh fading channels in 5th generation networks (5G) that can be used for upper layer applications. By using integral approximations, we derive an expression for cumulative distribution function (CDF) of the signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) at high SNR that is appropriate for the derivation of the second-order statistics. The monte carlo simulation results confirms the theoretical analysis and the curves show the expectable results.
