Abstract:
This paper will explain the newly developed power modules for high power PV-inverter, which is applied 1-in-1 circuit inside. With the flexible package, the 1-in-1 IGBT modules could be easily used to set up for 3-level T-type topology, 3-level I-type topology and 2-level topology, which could be used for high power PV-inverters. And the busbar design and drive layout would be easily realized with the symmetric drive terminals layout on both side. And this paper will also give the simulation results for 750kW PV-inverters with 1500V solar panel, including under the same switching frequency and the actual applied switching frequency, which is helpful to select the needed topology for higher power PV-inverters with 1500V solar panel.
