Abstract:
A feature overview and analysis of the limitations arising out of the performance of 4 different power architectures is offered. The last 3 of these are bidirectional. When examined, the considerations infer the benefit of integrating bidirectional power regulators in application spaces that need control of voltage and current set-points. The aim of this review is to demonstrate the streamlining afforded in the design of these systems when a diverse power component offering is deployed.
