Abstract:
STMicrolelectronics has developed an Interleaved Boost PFC converter based on a digital IC (STNRGPF01) and has added a new design module to eDesignSuite web portal for the development of mixed (analog/digital) signal applications. With eDesignSuite methodology, you can use the STNRGPF01 device in IPFC topology as an analog device without any knowledge of its inner architecture or its behavior, and still leverage all the advantages and the flexibility of a digital solution. Our tool generates a complete schematic, calculates appropriate component sizes and builds the customized STNRGPF01 firmware for your particular solution.
