Abstract:
A study on current combined communication and localization systems is presented focusing on important performance parameters like round-trip delay, data rate and localization performance. For industrial applications a key property is the real-time ability of such systems, which is the major focus of the presented investigation. Eventually, a real-time capable RF front-end architecture for a combined communication and localization system is proposed.
