This paper is about the IGBT modules for inverter application as automotive power train. Conventionally, in the inverter system requiring large capacity, there are several problems that are the difficult layout and the large self-inductance constraints due to increasing the power module sizing. And large capacity power module needs several IGBTs in parallel which has current imbalance. This paper addresses new packaging technology which can solve these issues.
