Abstract:
Mental fatigue caused by prolonged watching of 3DTV in various fields has been focused on the stereoscopic display. Electroencephalogram (EEG) is an objective technique that can be used to reflect mental activity and fatigue. Sixteen channels of EEG in twenty five subjects were collected while watching 3DTV. Six characteristic parameters, namely power spectrum of α (α), β (β), θ (θ), δ (δ), gravity frequency, and power spectral entropy, were assessed as indicators of mental fatigue. The data may be useful for estimates of the reasonable time duration for watching 3DTV.
