Abstract:
Modelling for transcription factor and microRNA co-regulated gene regulatory network is of great significance. In this paper, the differential equations are used to model the transcriptional mechanism of the gene-TF-miRNA feed-forward motifs, where the latent transcription factor activities are described with Gaussian Process, and the kinetic model is inferred under Bayesian framework. Cultural genetic algorithm is employed to identify the model parameters and hyper-parameters, which considers both the gene expression value and its gradient to improve the accuracy. The experimental results show that the proposed method is reliable for model inference, and the multi-objective optimization algorithm is more robust for parameter identification.
