Abstract:
It is expected that due to a higher availability and additional regulation the share of electric vehicles will raise substantially from 2020 onwards. This leads to an increasing importance of charging behavior for the planning of distri-bution grids in which charging stations are connected. Therefore a detailed knowledge of current charging behavior can support a more efficient grid planning for the future integration of additional charging stations. In this paper we propose a method to derive load profiles from operational charge point data and present results from the detailed load profile analysis of the public charging stations in the city of Hamburg.
