Abstract:
In this work, three different prototypes of non-isolated multi-phase bidirectional DC-DC converters based on SiC MOSFETs with a power rating of several kW, an input voltage of 400 V and an output voltage of 800 V are compared under equal load conditions regarding their electromagnetic emissions (EMEs). Each prototype has a different number of phases, switching frequency, cooling concept, switching cell and mechanical design. Several design parameters are investigated regarding their effect on the EME by a parameter study.
