Abstract:
Cardiovascular diseases cause the No. 1 death in the world. Electrocardiogram (ECG) and phonocardiogram (PCG) are common methods to detect cardiovascular disease noninvasively. In this paper, cross recurrence quantification analysis (CRQA) was used to analyse the relationship of the ECG signal andenvelope of the PCG signal in the group of coronary artery disease (CAD) and the group of healthy old subjects. Results showed that eleven of twelve indices were statistical significant with p<0.05, and seven indices were statistically highly significant with p<0.001, which indicated that CRQA may provide an effective tool to detect cardiovascular disease.
