Abstract:
The number of electric vehicles is increasing all over the world. Other than combustion vehicles they can play an active role in domestic photovoltaic storage systems and thus influence their dimensioning. The dimensions of photovoltaic system and storage battery depend in particular on the driving profile and the charging technology of the vehicle. Based on a large number of existing models, we have developed a mixed-integer linear program to investigate the impact of electric vehicles with different charging techniques on photovoltaic storage systems in comparison to combustion vehicles. We use different driving profiles, 74 representative house load profiles and a variety of other parameters to show how monoand bi-directional vehicles influence these systems. The findings of our examinations point out that electro mobility can have a high impact on private home energy systems. This is especially true for different vehicle classes, driving profiles and charging technologies.
