Abstract:
On the grounds of the increasing number of electric drives in electric and hybrid-electric vehicles, the interest in suitable power electronics as well as in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation for testing is on the rise. HIL simulation of power electronics is an ambitious task. Memory consumption poses an issue, among other things, especially on FPGA-based real-time systems. This contribution deals with the combination of an inductive-capacitive switch model and the state-space approach when simulating power electronics to avoid state-space representations for every switch-state.
