Abstract:
This paper presents the requirement specification, a prototype and the verification of an automotive Battery Management System with functional safety requirements under the ISO 26262 standard. It mainly focuses on the verification stage (planning, specification and testing) to get the qualification of the Battery Management System as an Automotive Safety Integrity Level C (ASILC) Safety Element out of context.
