Abstract:
Σ-δ (Σ Δ)-modulation is an analog-to-digital conversion technique in which the analog circuit section becomes very small. The majority of the circuit, as well as the transmission of the measured value, is digital. Digital signal processing offers excellent advantages in terms of implementation. This paper presents a method for digitally recovering the Σ Δ−clock signal from the received bit-stream for drive applications. Σ Δ-modulation with clock recovery reduces the digital current sensor interface to a 1-wire interface, the bit-stream.
