Abstract:
High efficiency power conversion is achieved by using switching power converters. But switching noise caused from switching power supplies affects bad influences to other machinery. Therefore, switching noise should be suppressed. Pulse width modulation (PWM) technique is generally used for switching power converters, this scheme brings about large switching noise peaks at the multiple frequency of the PWM carrier. And this causes problems of clearing noise regulations. This paper proposes a novel type dc-dc boost converter. The proposed converter uses δ-σ modulation method and the converter can reduce switching noise peaks.
