Abstract:
In this paper, we introduce Infineon’s GaN based Integrated Power Stage (IPS) solution with Digital in/ Power out concept. The chipset features and benefits are discussed in this paper. Two soft switching topologies in the universal charger/adapter application are selected to validate this IPS offering under high frequency operation and the related results including the efficiency and thermal performance is presented.
