Abstract:
According to "Maria" typhoon disaster in Fujian Province, this research used the NPP-VIIRS DNB daily Data, combined nighttime light remote sensing technology with meteorological disaster damage analysis, used statistical method based radiation normalization to extract the affected area and post-disaster recovery conditions, combined with ArcGIS Online network mapping to achieve the purpose of rapid sharing, and made the typhoon disaster visualization Web Mapping Application to visualize the disaster situation, and quickly created the thematic map of "Maria" typhoon damage in Fujian Province through post-disaster emergency, the chart of the total affected area, the distribution map of the affected levels and the chart of the affected populations in each city, and constructed a large-screen visualization system for the dynamic disaster of the "Maria" typhoon, so that the government or the public could have a direct understanding of the severity of the disaster. The results show that it is feasible to research and analyze the damage of meteorological disasters based on the nighttime light intensity data, and ArcGIS Online network mapping can achieve the purpose of rapid information sharing.
