Abstract:
As the proportion of distributed power generation in the power grid increases, the power grid system analysis has become complicated. The equivalent of power grids is very effective in analyzing large-scale interconnected systems. In this paper, the principle and method of static power grid equivalence are mainly studied. They are Ward, Extended Ward and Radial Equivalent Independent ( REI ) equivalence methods. This paper selects a six-bus power system model based on Molina and Cassano and approximates it based on the 500kv Argentine power grid system. The nodes' voltage, current, and power errors before and after the equivalent are compared, and the results are analyzed.
