Abstract:
For space debris, the use of TDM-MIMO radar detection can simultaneously complete large-scale airspace search and multi-target tracking in a short time, making system resource management more flexible. However, due to the relatively uniformly accelerated motion between some space debris and the radar, the target echo signal changes from a narrowband array signal to a broadband array signal. Moving target detection after keystone transformation will result in loss of performance and ineffective focusing. This paper proposes a second-order compensation algorithm for space-based TDM-MIMO radar space debris array. The method first uses the keystone transform to correct the relative uniform motion, and then uses the fractional Fourier transform (FrFT) to focus the energy. It can remove the effect of acceleration and achieve energy focusing. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
