Building a smart city is the overall starting point for promoting the construction of digital government, and it is the only way for China’s future urban development. However, due to the concentration of various complex information technologies in smart cities, while forming an advanced social form, it also brings diversified information security risks. In view of this, this article analyzes the risk of smart city information security from the three elements of information itself, information subject, and information environment based on the perspective of information ecology. And from the establishment of smart city information security governance system and comprehensive governance analysis system based on Qian Xuesen's thoughts, the countermeasures are proposed.
