Abstract:
In this paper, the face recognition problem is researched, and an improved algorithm based on Fisherface and machine learning is proposed. The proposed method mainly performs face recognition by combining Fisherface method and KNN algorithm, by firstly extracting global facial features for judgment using Fisher linear discriminant analysis method, and then using KNN method for face recognition. Finally, the weighted summation method for final face recognition is used. The experiment shows that the method has good robustness and can achieve good recognition accuracy in face images under expression changes and lighting changes.
