Abstract:
Smartphones have occupied our daily life due to their multiple-role, small, and multiple platform acceptance. However, people usually have to use their hands to operate the smartphone. A revolutionary augmented reality (AR) headset, which gives users a closed reality as expected, came to the market and soon owned its place. In this paper, a novel AR headset is designed. The cloud-based headset utilizes the latest AR, cloud, and eye-tracking techniques and builds wireless connection of voice input, holographic displaying, and a mouse which only requires one finger of users. It is promising to take smartphones' position to some extent in the future.
