Abstract:
Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the open bolt firing mode and closed bolt firing mode and the single standby mode of the traditional firearms, an opening and closing conversion mechanism of the chamber is designed to facilitate control of the shooter. Three-dimension modeling and dynamic simulation are conducted using Unigraphics and Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical System based on the conversion mechanism design drawing to investigate the rationality and stability of the conversion mechanism. The analysis results show that the gunlock designed can work smoothly in open bolt firing mode, and the displacement of the Y axis of the gunlock is greater than the protruding amount of the meshing face, which can successfully release the bolt face. The force between each part change smoothly and there is no large transient impact force during firing.
