Abstract:
With the improvement of armor protection capability, in order to improve the penetration performance and after-effect damage capability of PELE on metal target plates, numerical simulations are carried out on the process of PELE penetrating metal targets with radial layered structure by using computer simulation methods, and physical images of the process of projectile penetration on target plates can be obtained, and the influence law of the projectile structure on the lateral effect is analyzed according to the calculation results obtained from numerical simulations. Taking the axial residual velocity of the projectile after penetrating the target plate and the transverse dispersion velocity of the shell fragment as the evaluation criteria, the calculation results show that there are obvious differences in the PELE penetration capability and lateral effect of the layered structure with different combinations, and there exists a PELE structure match to obtain a better penetration effect.
