Abstract:
At present, the leakage detection of safety valves in the petrochemical field mainly depends on the staff listening to the sound and regular inspection, and there is no reliable detection method for small leakage and equipment internal leakage. In order to reduce the cost of manual inspection, improve the accuracy of leakage monitoring and realize real-time leakage warning, an online safety valve leakage monitoring system was designed and implemented based on acoustic emission technology. The hardware of the system meets the requirements of on-site explosion prevention in the petrochemical industry and has wireless transmission, sound-light alarm, and other modules. The development of the host computer software is based on the classical three-layer architecture, using a multi-thread mechanism to ensure the real-time performance of the software, and the external algorithm call process is set up to increase the scalability of the software. A safety valve leakage simulation test rig was built, and the function test of leak monitoring software was conducted. The test results show that the system can monitor small leakage and internal leakage, and has the functions of leak alarm, communication self-check, data storage and playback, real-time spectrum analysis, and runs smoothly. It makes up for the defects of manual leak detection, such as high cost, untimely leak detection, and it is of great significance for the leakage monitoring of safety valves in the petrochemical field.
