Abstract:
Hypersonic technology has the characteristics of forward-looking, driving and strategic. It is the embodiment of the comprehensive strength of national science and technology. Its development will greatly promote the technological progress in many related fields. It has a wide range of application prospects in the military and civilian fields. This paper makes a detailed analysis of the research goals, research and development process, technical problems, experience and lessons of the typical hypersonic vehicle programs in the United States. The correlation between different programs is summarized.
