Abstract:
This paper analyses the dynamic characteristics of the rotor system of combined cycle power plant (CCPP). A free-interface complex component mode synthesis (CMS) method is proposed to reduce the degree of freedom of the rotor system based on two transformations. The calculation of rigid body modes is avoid by adding constraints, which simplifies the calculation. Compared with the results of the original model, the maximum relative error of the first ten critical speeds is 0.08%, and the steady-state unbalance response curve and shaft orbit are almost identical to the original model, which proves the feasibility of the method.
