Improve on test method of surface flatness of ceramic tiles

Abstract:
The principle of GB/T 3810-2016 (ISO 10545-2:2018), the main surface flatness detection methods for ceramic tiles was analyzed. The geometric models of three typical deformation types, warping angle, twist and central convex, are established. Based on the convex & concave tests method, the method of measuring the surface flatness of ceramic tile by ruler is improved by analyzing the geometric relationship. Through theoretical calculation and experimental comparison, it is show that the improved method is comparable to the main method at present, and the instrument is simple, convenient to use and more widely applicable.
