Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to exemplify our research and simulation methods about two automobile models from BMW and Chevy Chevrolet in an intuitional way. By focusing on the different turning angles and comparing the results from the simulations to predict the greater model, we use a formula for the U-turn, a formula for the lane change with a linear and non-linear model. We write these formulas in python code, and then we use some codes to show the figures we need. Moreover, collab is one of the efficient tools we use to simulate the performance of BMW and Chevrolet in operations such as u turn and lane change. By analyzing and comparing the parameters in the trajectory plot, like time, slip angle, etc., the results show that the specific model from BMW is more capable of accomplishing the above operation than Chevrolet’s model.
