An Analysis Method of LRU Accessibility in Civil Aircraft Maintainability Design Process

Abstract:
The safety and efficiency of civil aircraft operation and the low cost of maintenance largely depend on good maintainability design. This paper introduces the concept of maintainability design first, secondly discusses in detail the maintainability design process line replaceable unit (LRU) accessibility analysis method, and illustrates the application of this method in the civil aircraft design, the development trend of the civil aircraft maintainability design are discussed, and the research of this field and application are proposed.
