Abstract:
When the offset-fed truss reflector works in orbit, it will produce large impact force and torque, which has a great impact on the attitude control of satellite and the vibration control strategy of deployable structure. In order to accurately measure the impact force and moment in the deployment process of truss deployable structure, a 6-DOF force measuring platform is built to test the deployment process of truss reflector. The test results show that the deployment process of truss reflector will produce two impact signals: Unlocking impact and in position locking impact. The comparison shows that the unlocking impact is a transient signal, and the impact signal will decay rapidly (about 3.2ms), while the energy of the locking impact signal is large and lasts for 25ms, which will damage the deployable structure and may cause vibration problems. The impact force and moment of the truss reflector in the whole process of unlocking and deployment are accurately measured by using a new sensing measurement technology, which provides data support for the normal operation of the spaceborne offset-fed truss reflector on orbit.
