Abstract:
The non-contact labyrinth seal structure of a high-speed gearbox is taken as the research object, an experiment is designed to measure its internal pressure. In view of the complex internal flow field during its operation, a simplified labyrinth seal 3D model is established and the flow field simulation is carried out. The regularities of flow field distribution in labyrinth seal and the influence of different geometry parameters on the leakage of labyrinth seal are revealed. A geometric structure of labyrinth seal is optimized, and an improved structure is proposed, the new labyrinth seal structure is simulated and verified through simulation analysis and the negative pressure suction inside the gearbox is used to seal the gas-oil mixture in the cavity to form an internal circulation. The simulation and experiment verify that the leakage problem of gearbox can be completely solved by the new labyrinth seal structure.
