Abstract:
To address the problem of rapid identification of synchronous belt defects in the production process, a measurement device for synchronous belt defect identification was built based on the laser triangulation method; the tooth structure of synchronous belt was analyzed, and an improved algorithm based on ICP was proposed, which can classify and identify a variety of defect data types. Different types of measurement tests were conducted on RU type synchronous belt with 99 teeth, and the test results showed that the measurement of synchronous belt using the device built based on laser triangulation method achieved the collection of synchronous belt surface information. The improved ICP algorithm is used to process the measurement data and to complete the final defect identification, which improves the efficiency for the subsequent measurement of tooth parameters and can be applied in the actual production.
