Bee colony flow monitoring system based on SSD algorithm

Abstract:
In order to reduce the labor cost in the process of beekeeping, this paper designed a colony flow monitoring system based on SSD algorithm. Using a one-way multi-frame detector SSD combined with The Faster R-CNN anchors for traffic detection, we have been trained with a high degree of accuracy using the model. Then the Web back-end data analysis platform is designed and built, and the system performance is optimized by Redis. By analyzing the flow data of bees in and out the living status of bee colony is given to achieve the purpose of intelligent monitoring.
