Abstract:
In order to solve the problems of high dimension and poor real-time performance of SIFT algorithm in the process of image stitching, a new stitching algorithm is proposed based on SIFT algorithm. Firstly, SVD algorithm is proposed to reduce the feature dimension to improve the running speed. Secondly, KD-Tree algorithm is used to match feature points based on Euclidean distance, and a bidirectional matching strategy is proposed to determine the parameters of proportional threshold to improve the accuracy of feature point matching. Finally, bilinear interpolation fusion algorithm is used to realize image stitching. Experimental results show that the proposed method further improves the image stitching speed on the basis of ensuring the image stitching quality.
