Abstract:
The vibration speed of a temper mill was tested by using a vibration online monitoring system, and the vibration characteristics and rules were obtained. With the help of ADAMS, a model simulation study was carried out on the the clearance fit between work roll bearing and the roll neck. It was found that the larger the fit clearance and the higher the rotational speed, the more serious the vibration of the roll system. By applying the sweeping excitation to the model, the inherent frequency of the temper mill model is found out. When the excitation frequency generated by the work roll bearing reaches 320Hz, it will cause the obvious vibration phenomenon of the roll system, resulting in vibration marks on the surface of the strip and the backup roll. To this end, the corresponding vibration suppression measures are proposed, and good vibration suppression results are achieved.
