Abstract:
The effect of the speed index of the dampers on the vibration isolation performance of the system was analysed by the method of equivalent damping. The analysis found that for the force excitation system, the use of damping with speed index greater than 1 is beneficial to improve the vibration isolation performance of the system for high-frequency vibration, and the use of damping with speed index less than 1 will reduce the vibration isolation performance of the system for high-frequency vibration. For the displacement excitation system, using damping with speed index greater than 1 will reduce the vibration isolation absorption of the system for high frequency, and when using damping with speed index less than 1, it will improve the vibration isolation performance of the system for high frequency. This shows that the damping ratio is no longer constant for vibration isolation systems with nonlinear damping, and changes with the change of frequency ratio. For the study of small damping ratio vibration isolation system, the method of equivalent damping is simpler and more convenient, and it is easy to get the vibration isolation performance of the system in each frequency.
