Abstract:
This paper deals the stability of the rotor-bearing system (RBS) with the Design of Experiment (DOE) method. Firstly, the amplitude attenuation of the RBS under free vibration is analysed. Then, the minimum modal damping ratio (MMDR) is selected to characterize the stability of the RBS. Furthermore, based on the DOE method, the Main Effects Plot, the Pareto Plot and the Interaction Plot under different parameter value ranges are established and discussed. The results show that there are obvious interaction effects between the bearing parameters, and the optimal value of the RBS can be obtained.
