Research on the Positioning Design of Fixtures in Machining

Abstract:
The main function of the so-called fixture positioning is to ensure the effective contact between the workpiece datum surface and the fixture positioning element, thereby realizing a comprehensive restriction on the degree of freedom of the workpiece, so as to process mechanical products. Due to the prominent importance of this work, this paper discusses the positioning design of fixtures in machining, expounds the specific design process and methods, and looks forward to the future development of fixture positioning design for reference.
