Non-inductive highly efficient Power Transfer System, a new approach

Abstract:
Abstract - Wireless power transmission is advantageous in cases where connecting wires are inconvenient, dangerous or impossible. In relation to their size, common systems allow only a very small distance bridging, allow hardly any degrees of freedom in the arrangement of transmitter and receiver and are easily influenced by foreign metallic objects. The system presented here, based on resonant coupling with tunnel effect, enables energy transmission without the disadvantages mentioned. The principal mode of operation is clearly presented and possible applications are shown.
