Abstract:
This paper describes the design idea and flow of a digital image processing system based on FPGA that can capture, process and display in real time, analyses the timing of the camera interface; explains the principle of capturing image information; describes in detail the functions of each module in the image edge detection part; focuses on the design of the median filter module with noise removal function; briefly describes the edge detection operator The system is based on a physical FPGA development board. The system is based on a solid FPGA development board to achieve real-time image data acquisition, real-time edge detection and real-time display, with stable operation and high real-time performance, thus also demonstrating that FPGAs do have the capability of high-speed transmission of massive data.
