Abstract:
Coating a thin chromium layer on the surface of zirconium tube will significantly improve the high-temperature corrosion resistance of the tube. The tube with this structure is widely used in the nuclear industry. The uniformity of chromium coating affects the service life of zirconium tube, which needs to be matched with the detection system. On the batch detection line, the conventional eddy current thickness gauge contacts the coating and wears the coating and probe. In this paper, a measurement method based on the intersection of pulse eddy current lifting off is proposed, which can achieve non-contact measurement. Through the analysis of simulation and experiment, the feasibility of the method is confirmed, and the detection error is less than.
