Abstract:
This paper presents an overview of Large DIPIPM+(TM) transfer-mold intelligent power modules. The first part of this paper discusses innovative features of this series product, also the advantages of Large DIPIPM+(TM) are summarized. Next, since Large DIPIPM+ modules have been used in the commercial multi-compressors air-condition systems, some technical details, including testing items and results are reviewed during the project development phase. In the third part, it is concluded that Large DIPIPM+(TM) realizes simpler and more compact designs for inverter systems, as well as highly efficient inverter operation and miniaturization of the overall PCB size.
