Abstract:
This paper analyzes the potential of electric vehicles to realize the "double carbon" goal of new power system. In order to minimize the total operation cost of the new power system in one day, an optimization model of the new power system with electric vehicles under the background of "double carbon" is established. A region is taken as an example for simulation, and the impact of different penetration rates of electric vehicles on the realization of the goal of "carbon peaking and carbon neutralization" of the new power system is studied from the perspective of carbon reduction effect and economy. The results show that under the new power system with the goal of "carbon peaking and carbon neutralization", the improvement of the penetration rate of electric vehicles will have a positive effect on the carbon reduction effect of the system, and it has great potential to achieve the goal of "double carbon".
