Reliability and economic evaluation of AC / DC distribution network with sensitive load

Abstract:
With the development of distribution network, distributed generation and DC load occupy an increasing proportion in power system. When the connection form of distribution network changes, it is necessary to evaluate the reliability of AC / DC hybrid distribution network on the premise of considering the cost of AC / DC key equipment, so as to comprehensively improve the reliability and economy. Firstly, the grid DC transformation is carried out. For the hybrid AC / DC distribution network including DC sensitive load and distributed generation, the reliability index of hybrid AC / DC distribution network is proposed. Taking the cost of converter, DC circuit breaker, line, converter station, transformer and outage cost as the objective function, the reliability index of each scheme is calculated by Monte Carlo, GWO is used to optimize the configuration scheme of modular multilevel converter and DC circuit breaker considering economic indicators, and the optimal solution is obtained. It is verified that the proposed method can comprehensively improve reliability and economy.
