Abstract:
The grounding system is the guarantee for the normal operation of the power system and the key to ensuring the safety of people and equipment. Due to the effect of freezing in seasonally frozen soil regions, the soil resistivity of frozen soil increases significantly, which seriously affects the grounding performance of the system. In this paper, according to the survey results of winter ambient temperature and soil structure in eastern Mongolia, a corresponding soil conductivity model was constructed, and an experimental platform for soil resistivity measurement was built. The four-electrode method was used to measure the resistivity of each treatment. A permafrost test was designed for soil samples with different NaCl concentrations in a constant temperature closed environment of -20 °C, and the effects of permafrost salinity and temperature on soil resistivity were analyzed. The test results can provide a reference for the grounding system in the frozen soil area.
