Abstract:
The content of this article is to investigate how to use the method of load-pull to match the load impedance of an RF power amplifier. Simulation simulates the impedance matching of the RF power amplifier at fundamental frequency using passive tuned tuners. In this simulation experiment, Wolfspeed's CG2H40010 power amplifier was selected as the device under test, and the relationship between the output power and the load impedance change of the device was studied in the input power range -10dBm to 35dBm and frequency from 1GHz to 3GHz. The result is that when the frequency of the input signal is 1.9GHz, and the power is 32dBm, the load impedance is adjusted to 24.9+j12.7Omega, the PAE has a maximum value of 70.2%, and the output power is 41.68dBm.
