Abstract:
The introduction of mobile edge computing technology enables mobile blockchain to solve the problem of proof-ofwork task offloading and accelerates the development of mobile blockchain to a certain extent. However, owing to the randomness of the arrival and departure of mobile blockchain application users, this architecture suffers from the problem of frequent search for edge computing nodes and service redirection by mobile intelligent terminals during operation. To address this, we introduced the fifth-generation device-to-device technology into the mobile blockchain system, proposed the energy-saving routing mechanism for mobile blockchain architecture, and included the MBC-DCRM energy- saving routing algorithm running in this architecture. The DCRM algorithm was redesigned by the characteristic of periodically reaching block consensus. According to the analysis of the simulation experiment results, the MBCDCRM routing algorithm can still achieve about 25% energy saving effect compared with the mobile edge computing routing algorithm in the worst case.
